Fresh, Summer Meals

Dicey gazpacho

It's a new season for the Deli —look for new fare including raw kale pesto, mango salsa, and sushi salad.

The warm weather is finally here and for us Deli folk that means gazpacho and salsas, fresh fruit, potato salads, and slaws. It also means you can expect to see more and more local produce turning up in our recipes. We are so excited to start working with our farmers again and helping to bring their beautiful products to your table. Some new products that we'll be launching this season include: raw kale pesto, fresh mango salsa, California roll sushi salad, Sonoma chicken salad, Maryland-style crab cakes, and a zesty adzuki bean salad that offers a great alternative to pasta salad for all those barbecues you'll be attending. We're also very proud to be returning to Taste of the Nation this year. Last spring was our first time participating in this great event and we could not wait to sign on again this year! Visit www.FoodEveryDay.org for more information. Plans are also well under way for our new central production kitchen and bakery. Look for updates in the store or on the website, or feel free to grab me and ask some questions!
