One Minute Activist
Come to the West-End store and Sign a letter to Governor Cuomo from GreenStar Members & Customers demanding a permanent ban on Hydrofracking.
Why ban Hydrofracking?
It pollutes wells, waterways and air with toxic chemicals;
It threatens the livelihood of organic farmers and our area's important tourist industry;
It overtaxes roadways and creates noise & light pollution;
The drilling process actually raises greenhouse gases;
It will change our rural landscape into a heavy industrial region;
It will make it harder, if not impossible, for GreenStar to secure agricultural products that are not tainted by toxic chemicals;
Our Goal = 1000 letters
All it takes is 1 minute!
Feel free to add your own comments at the end of the letter
Please leave your signed letter in the box provided.
We will mail the letters to Governor Cuomo on January 11.
